Meet Dennis Caldwell of Paragould, Arkansas

Dennis CaldwellThe first time I met this guy, I was in the foothills of the Ozarks. He was riding his motorcylcle. Since we have become close friends. Check out his new website (www.completerestorationinchrist.com). The following is a ‘Good Confession’ that Dennis wrote that you might want to start your day off with each morning. “God is omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, all-loving, altogether Righteous, God is not a respecter of persons, and His judgments make us learn righteousness. God is Love, always giving, His mercy never ends. All good things come from Him and even the bad are not out of his control. God does not keep his anger forever, Loves even His enemies. God will overcome all evil with good. Even his correction is in his red-hot love and passion for our perfection to become like Jesus who is the perfect representation of his nature and ways. God is always good to all, He never changes, and He never makes a mistake, or is out-witted or overpowered by anyone or anything. God never loses. God knows the beginning to the end and He works ALL things out in accordance with his will and desire and pleasure. And in this working out of His plan; God is good to all; all the time. We can just trust Him for all of each day’s needs and concerns, and put them in His great, awesome loving hands, His “Power through grace” is sufficient for our weakness, sickness, sin and needs which are all turned into blessings. Jesus took all that on himself and overcame it all,for us all, and now is working in us all and through us all, this way that we shall all overcome; through sharing in His victory over sin, the flesh, the devil, and death. As He works out his salvation in each of us; everyone in their own order. Praise God The Father in Christ Jesus The Son by The Holy Spirit, it is so, Amen!”

“And if you love them that love you, what think ye?”…….By Mark Eaton

I was pondering Luke 6:32 this morning.

“And ye love them which love you, what think ye? For sinners also love those that love them.”

If I am only reaching out to those who I have already reached out to; is this the True Love of the Father? Hardly not! I believe that if we all sound the same, have the same doctrine, and only embrace those who we feel comfortable with….THIS IS NOT TRUE LOVE. Later in the passage it says, God is kind to the unthankful and to the wicked. What? Kindness is hardly the word to describe the so-called Christian today’s response to those who don’t believe the way they do.

Get passionate about reaching outside your sphere of influence or comfort zone! If my “Fellowship” is based on being comfortable, or you must fit my “Creed”….. or how about this one, “If your are not to far out there.” This is a Huge Comfort Zone. When looking in scripture “biblical transition” means often leaving the familar, and walking on new ground.

So again…..(1) If you are fundamentally sound, (2) Your doctrine is correct, (3) And those you fellowship with all believe the same…….HEAR IS JESUS WORDS TO YOU, “WHAT THINK YE?” Sorry, but you have not arrived, when you are in such a comfortable state. Search the scriptures. There is huge difference between “biblical transition” and “being comfortable”. Often, those who are comfortable with you, don’t really hear your heart, and thus only assume you believe like they do.
