October 14, 2007, Joel Osteen was interviewed by 60 minutes. He was called the most popular minister in America. In the segment, he was attacked by a Westminister professor in California and called a heretic because his message had too much grace. [NOTE: In my limited research, Joel Osteen is at best a ‘closet UR believer’] The professor said, “This guy is preaching God is nice; you are nice; so be nice.!” It called for an immediate response from my wife saying, “Exactly! Now that’s the Gospel.” She’s right. Think about it (1) God is nice-He so loved the world he sent his Son to the cross; (2) You are nice-We are partakers of his divine nature; (3) So be nice-He that has begun the good work in you is faithful to complete it. What Does Your Bible Say? The following two postings are the exact words written, but say two opposite things. God is eternally nice to all…….Or…….God is not eternally nice too all. Yes, we all use the same book, but see two different things. Read On!
