Scoot Reichard is a successful businessman in Champaign, Illinois. He has tremendous insight in the message of reconcilation. He is on my short list of those who really desires to see UR believers network and come together. Although we all may differ on many doctrinal issues, the “Love of God” wins and we all agree on the bottom line-God will be All in All. The following is an email I received from Scott recently. On October 31, 1517, Martin Luther posted his 95 thesis on the Wittenberg door inviting discussion relative to issues of Hell and Grace This Halloween marks the 490th anniversary of this event. For the Bible Gematria lovers, 490 is a very significant number. Instead of forgiving 7 times, Jesus told Peter to forgive 70 X 7 (an obvious reference to the Jubilee of every 49 years). The Jubilee Law of course being the Law of Grace which prophesies of the Restoration of All Things of which Peter, Paul and the Prophets spoke. For inviting discussion, Luther was first ignored, then laughed at, then persecuted and then he wins. Like it or not, that seems to be the progression as Traditions and established religious authorities are presented with Truth. May the clarity of God’s Plan and not division come to the Church of Jesus Christ this time around as we celebrate and invite discussion at this great Jubilee Anniversary.
SCOTT SAYS, CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING QUOTES-
1-“God forbid that I should limit the time for acquiring faith to the present life. In the depths of the Divine Mercy there may be opportunity to win it in the future state.” Martin Luther (Letter to Hansen von Rechenberg 1522).
2-“Endless punishment questions and blasphemes God’s goodness and greatness, and leaves them without defence.” John Milton
3-“By Christ’s name all can and shall obtain life and salvation.” John Wesley (sixteen discourse)
4-“God is Love; everything which opposes this—a burning hell, therefore, whose fires endure forever—I could not recognize.” Hans Christian Anderson (The Story of My life 1870).
If you haven’t seen the Film titled “Luther” of a couple years ago—it is good viewing!
Jubilee Blessings!

I had no idea Martin Luther made his famous post on Halloween. May we have his boldness!
