Rick Spencer and Willie Cripps’ trip to Las Vegas included a 2-day layover in Flagstaff, Arizona. Mercy Aiken, UR Point Person met us when we arrived and gave us the grand tour of beautiful Flagstaff that included all the Christmas lights in downtown. But the highlight of the trip was meeting Greek translator Johnathan Mitchell and his wife Linda. Johnathan has been involved in a project for several years of writing a New Testament. Using various helps and Greek writings, Mr. Mitchell is passionate about finding the best English word to give the best description of each Greek word. Some verses literally take hours because of his committment to accuracy to the heart of God. Another feature is using parenthesis and brackets much like the Amplfied Bible to bring more clarity and detail to the verses. Johnathan still has two books to translate-Luke and Acts. In asking him what kind of timeline is he looking at, he stated, “The two remaining books will each take a year. Then I will take another year to pray and meditate on my writings.” WOW! Truly a labor of love! Johnathan and Linda were absolute sweethearts and their love for the Lord and all of humanity was quite evident.
This is very exciting!
Does Mr. Mitchell have an email he would be willing to share and is there any kind of help or support that he may need to facilitate his work?
It would also be great to see any excerpts he may be able to share, though it’s completely understandable why he may not.

It is exciting to see men like Jonathan Mitchell dedicate
there lives to translating the Greek into a Translation to
tells the Whole Truth about “The Full Salvation” promised
in the New Testament. I pray that one day Jonathan’s Translation will used as the Amplified Bible is today.
I personally feel that Bible Translation will be heavily
challenged for the funtion of Grace in the next few years.
A Translation that captures God’s Heart to connect us
NOW in the function of grace, and not emphasize the mere
mechanics of what we wish will happen.
I have been very excited to find somone out there teaching the message of Universal Reconciliation. My Sister and I, and now my children, grandchildren have believed this for 35 years. The only person that we knew who taught it was A.E.Knoch. 30 years ago I got some of his pamphlets, and still have them. My sister found Tentmaker a few months ago and I spoke with Gary Amirault, and ordered some of his writings. then we found Hope Beyond Hell, and that has brought me here. I just ask the Lord to bless you, to put your word into the hearts of people who can’t reconcile a God who sends people to “eternal” hell with a “loving” God. When we first recognized the truth, it brought a joy to our hearts. We never could figure out why it did not bring the same kind of joy to others. But, we know that the Lord will fix it all, and we are at rest in Him.
